WWJD

Yesterday I spoke to the children of our church in a short segment of the regular church service, and the topic was to do what Jesus did. I quoted John 20:21 - where Jesus tells his closest followers: "Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you." In other words, as God the Father sent Jesus to the earth in human form, followers of Jesus should act the same way, do the same things, and obey the same principles as Jesus. In the 1990's it was popular for men and women to wear a bracelet that had the letters "WWJD" on it.


The letters stand for What Would Jesus Do? I try to keep this in mind when I live because he is such a model of love and care and compassion.
